What happened: The National Alliance for Black Business (NABB), co-founded by the National Black Chamber of Commerce and The World Conference of Mayors, expressed gratitude to Amazon for their critical support of the 124th National Black Business Conference. Held virtually, the conference united over 2,700 Black-owned businesses, professionals, and leaders from 32 Pan-African countries and 433 delegates, marking an unprecedented gathering of Black economic empowerment.

Why it matters: Amazon’s sponsorship helped achieve major milestones, including facilitating $10 million in contract opportunities, hosting 82 workshops, and engaging 152 Black-led organizations and 34 corporate sponsors. The digital event reached 1.5 million social media impressions, showing Amazon's commitment to global Black business growth and collaboration.

What’s next: The NABB has announced the 125th Quasquicentennial National Black Business Conference, to be held in August 2025 in Atlanta. This historic event will honor the legacy of Booker T. Washington, bringing together hundreds of Black-led organizations to continue the mission of economic empowerment. Amazon and other sponsors are invited to further strengthen their support for this landmark occasion.
