About Me

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an American Board-Certified Sex Therapist, I founded Heart of Mind Therapy (HoMT) to create a space where people feel truly seen, accepted, and empowered to heal. I believe that our life experiences shape how we show up in our relationships, how we process emotions, and how we connect with ourselves and others.

My passion lies in helping individuals, couples, and families explore these experiences with compassion and a sense of curiosity. I guide my clients—and the therapists I mentor at HoMT—to meet people exactly where they are: in their present struggles, in the echoes of their past, and in the hopes they hold for their future.

In my work, I emphasize emotional awareness, dual perspectives, and the importance of embracing conflict as an opportunity for growth rather than something to avoid. I believe that each therapeutic relationship is a privilege and an invitation to join someone on a deeply personal journey. Together, we walk through the hurts and pains of the past, discover what it was like during those pivotal moments, and learn how to respond differently to emotional triggers in the future.

I’m committed to promoting sex positivity and sexual acceptance, helping clients reclaim parts of themselves that have been shaped by others and giving back the hurtful narratives they’ve carried for too long. As I guide the therapists at HoMT, I encourage them to build acceptance for each client’s full emotional range, to hold space for their unique stories, and to teach clients how to show others how to love and treat them with regard.

My mission is to create a space where the heart and mind connect—where we can have a profound influence on how we think, feel, and engage with one another.

"The heart and mind create a connection that allows powerful impact and influence over how we think, feel, and engage with one another."
