The NBCC Government Contracting Program provides resources, training, and personalized support to help businesses in the Black community secure and manage federal contracts. Through our partnership with US Federal Contractor Registration (USFCR), we guide members through every stage of the contracting process, from registration to proposal writing.
Any NBCC member interested in pursuing federal contracting opportunities is eligible to participate. The program is designed to support both new contractors and businesses with prior federal contracting experience.
SAM (System for Award Management) registration is required for businesses to bid on federal contracts. Our SAM Registration Assistance service simplifies this process by guiding you step-by-step, ensuring compliance with all federal standards, and keeping your registration up-to-date so you never miss an opportunity.
Participants in the program can pursue a variety of federal contracts across sectors such as healthcare, construction, IT services, logistics, and more. Our team will help identify the best opportunities that match your business’s strengths and growth objectives.
Our program assists with securing certifications like 8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, and HUBZone, which are required for set-aside contracts. These certifications make your business eligible for exclusive contract opportunities aimed at fostering diversity and supporting small, disadvantaged businesses.
USFCR offers a range of services to NBCC members, including SAM Registration Assistance, grant writing, proposal development, GSA certification, and access to the Advanced Procurement Portal (APP) for easy federal contract searches.
